This policy covers PicsRoom, this website and support enquiries.

2. Photos and editing

Photos, masks, presets, editing settings and projects are processed on your device and stored in the app. PicsRoom operates no photo server, requires no proprietary account and includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. Integrated AI features process images locally without sending them to an AI service.

The system photo and file pickers provide the files you select. Saving to Photos requires the relevant system permission. Exporting or sharing passes files to your chosen destination at your request. Other apps and cloud services have their own privacy policies. Original files and project copies may contain metadata, including location; review these before sharing.

3. Reference images from links

Loading an image URL contacts the corresponding server, which receives your IP address and requested URL. Redirects may contact additional servers. Your edited photo is not uploaded. Retention, server locations and further processing depend on the provider you choose.

4. Storage and deletion

Projects remain locally until deleted in the app or the app is removed. Device backups may include this data. Deleting a project does not delete exported files, backups or copies held by other services. We cannot access projects stored solely on your device.

5. Apple and diagnostics

Apple processes purchases, billing and any usage or diagnostic information you choose to share under its own terms. Error reports made available by Apple may be used to fix defects, based on our legitimate interest in a reliable app (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). PicsRoom includes no independent tracking or analytics integration. See Apple’s privacy policy.

6. Email support

We process your email address, message and voluntarily supplied attachments to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in answering other enquiries. Providing this information is voluntary, but insufficient information may prevent us from assisting you.

Email is provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Messages are kept as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and required follow-up. Where statutory retention requirements or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims require longer retention, the relevant information is kept until those periods expire.

7. Website hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Technical connection data, such as IP address, request time, requested resource and browser information, is processed to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cloudflare operates a global network; data may also be processed outside the EU. Details about recipients, international processing, safeguards and retention are available in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

We use no tracking cookies of our own and embed no analytics tools, external fonts or social networks. The interactive image demo runs in your browser. External links contact their destination only when opened.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future.
